The government today presented the Budget 2026, and through it shared that MyDigital is targeting 15 million users by the end of 2025. MyDigital ID is a digital identity support managed by the government, making it easier for users to log in to various services, and also facilitating identity verification across various services.
In addition, the government also shared that MyDigital ID will also be expanded to other sectors, including finance, telecommunications, e-commerce and even health.
Previously, the government itself has shared that prepaid SIM card registration will begin using MyDigital ID this year. Moving forward, we may see the implementation and integration of MyDigital ID more widely across various public and private services.
