GeekBench Benchmark Scores for iPad Pro Powered by Apple M5 Chip Revealed

Yesterday we reported on a leak of information regarding the new iPad Pro tablet that will be powered by the Apple M5 processor that is expected to be introduced early next year.

Now, a few details about the performance of the iPad Pro have been revealed through GeekBench benchmark scores, which show both the single-core and multi-core scores of the processor, indicating that it is on par with the Apple M4 Max chip offering.

The Apple M5 processor comes with a single-core score of 4133 while its multi-core score is 15,437. The single-core score is similar to the Apple M4 Max's capabilities, but the multi-core score is around 10,000 points behind.

This is not surprising since the M5 chip is an entry-level chip and Apple is expected to introduce Apple M5 Pro and M5 Max chip models for more powerful premium offerings in the future.

Other specifications that can be seen on the Apple M5 chip include that it comes with nine physical cores and a base speed of 4.42GHz and will be equipped with 12GB of built-in memory.

Other additional details about the iPad Pro are not yet known, but they will likely be leaked little by little as usual before its launch in the future.
