Japanese Government Asks OpenAI Not to Infringe Copyright

The Japanese government has now said that they have sent a request to OpenAI not to infringe on the copyrights of the country's companies. This mainly involves anime and manga.

Recently, OpenAI has introduced the Sora application that allows for video generation - making many people come to see anime generation, in addition to using various popular anime characters in the generation. Japan says manga and anime are national treasures that they are proud of, and OpenAI's actions are seen as disrespecting the treasures of the country of the rising sun.

Various artificial intelligence models are seen to be trained using copyrighted material, thus violating property rights. In addition to OpenAI, the X party also allows the generation of videos and images, which are also used by many to recreate various popular anime works.

At present, it is not known what further action the Japanese government will take regarding copyright infringement and the use of people's works without permission or compensation.
