MAE is a digital banking and wallet application under Maybank. It was offered around 5 years ago, and has now become Maybank's main banking application, and is actively used by many every day.
According to Maybank, now 9 out of 10 MAE users are actively using it every day for daily transactions. In total, MAE has 10.7 million users today, and has a market share of around 48% in the mobile banking arena. Since its launch five years ago, MAE has now managed transactions totaling over RM4 trillion through it.
In line with its 5th anniversary, MAE is now coming with special promotions and rewards for MAE users. Starting from 30 October until 31 January 2026, customers can receive 5% p.a return on a minimum deposit of RM200 on the MAE wallet. To get the return, users need to input “MAETurns5” in the recipient reference section, before 30 November 2025. The deposit amount must also be maintained until the end of the campaign.
