The Nubia Z80 Ultra was launched yesterday as another smartphone with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and is offered with a photography kit. In terms of specifications, it comes with a 6.85″ AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The flagship Qualcomm chip is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage and a 7200 mAh battery. This battery can be charged 90W wired and 80W wirelessly
The main camera consists of a 50MP wide-angle lens with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 64MP telephoto lens with OIS that can do 3X optical zoom. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera located under the screen.
The device comes with a 3D Ice Steel VC cooling system that combines a smoke chamber system and the use of liquid metal. This allows the Z80 Ultra, which is offered as a photography device, to also be used to run the highest settings. The phone body passes the IP69 waterproof and dustproof standards and the operating system used is Nebula AIOS 2 based on Android 16.
The photography kit offered transforms the device into a digital camera with an analog camera design. There are additional lenses, camera buttons, a holder that makes it easier for the owner to operate it and a shoulder strap.
Prices start at RMB 4,999 (~RM3,300) with color options of Light White, Phantom Black, and a special edition of Starry Sky (inspired by Vincent van Gogh). The photography kit is offered at RMB 669 (~RM397).
