Oppo Watch S Launched with a Thin and Durable Body



The Oppo Watch S is a smartwatch with a thin design of 8.9mm and weighs only 35g. In addition, it features a 1.46″ AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 3000 nits in Oppo’s special sports mode, while the normal brightness reaches 600 nits.


The Oppo Watch S is equipped with various health and fitness sensors including a blood oxygen sensor (16 channels), a heart rate sensor (8 channels), ECG electrodes, and a wrist temperature sensor. It is also capable of performing a 60-second full-body scan covering 13 health indicators, and providing quick alerts if there are problems. The ECG application is also certified as a Class II medical device in China.


The watch can also monitor vascular health, sleep quality (including snoring and breathing patterns), and stress levels. It offers a professional running mode that analyzes running posture, oxygen level rate, and fat burning mode to help exercise in the appropriate heart rate zone.


The Watch S is powered by a BES2800BP chip and supports dual-band GPS (L1 + L5) with support for BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS and QZSS. It runs ColorOS Watch 7.1 and comes with 4GB eMMC storage.


The battery can last up to 10 days depending on usage. The Oppo Watch S is now available in China for CNY 1499, which is around RM889.
