Rakuten Kobo today announced the launch of the Kobo Remote, a new wireless control device designed specifically for turning pages on Kobo eReader devices. It allows users to read without having to touch the screen, thus improving the comfort and smoothness of the reading experience.
The Kobo Remote can be connected via Bluetooth at an operating distance of up to 65 feet, thus allowing continuous reading from a distance. It also uses replaceable AAA batteries that can last for several months depending on usage patterns.
The Kobo Remote comes in two color options, Black and White. It will be sold in Malaysia on 4 November 2025 for RM155 and is available at their physical stores and official online platforms.
