Shopee is now seen updating the ShopeePay application, and has added a new feature, namely ShopeePay Invest. Through it, it focuses on supporting investments with returns on investment.
ShopeePay Invest allows users to invest in funds as low as RM10, and says their platform has been certified by the Securities Commission of Malaysia.
ShopeePay Invest offers a number of choices of sharia-compliant investment funds through the application, with different rates of return. Users can see the percentage of return according to the time frame, and then choose to invest in the funds of the user's choice. Shopee is seen collaborating with iFAST Capital for this offering.
