Yes Begins Offering 5G Advanced Access to Customers – First in Malaysia



Yes, one of the popular telecommunications networks in Malaysia, today officially announced the introduction of 5G Advanced or 5G-A network access for Yes customers. As usual, this offering starts in the Klang Valley first, and will be expanded in stages throughout Malaysia. This introduction also makes Yes the first in Malaysia to offer this advanced network to their customers.


5G Advanced comes with several advantages compared to existing 5G networks, including better support in buildings, improvements in latency, as well as better control of data usage traffic based on service. Yes also emphasizes that this offering is better than 5G SA.


Yes said that all Yes 5G Postpaid and Wireless Broadband customers will be upgraded to 5G Advanced support starting today automatically. However, for users to have a device that supports it.


Through Yes's official page, they listed several devices from Xiaomi, Samsung, Vivo, Honor, ZTE and Nothing that support this 5G Advanced network. For those of you who use Yes and use the device in question, you can try out this advanced 5G network today.
