Apple Expected to Introduce MacBook with iPhone Chip by Mid-2026

Apple has previously been rumored several times to be developing their laptop using iPhone chips – thus allowing for more competitive pricing, especially among students. Most recently, Bloomberg reported that Apple will introduce it by the first half of 2026.

The MacBook running this iPhone chip is expected to use a smaller 13.6-inch screen with an LCD display. This will make it the smallest MacBook on the market so far.

It is said that the iPhone chip offers better operating power compared to the previous Apple M1 chip. Since Apple is ready to produce chips for iPhones in large quantities, it is possible that the price of this MacBook can be reduced compared to the production of regular Apple chips for laptops.

Apple is also said to be targeting the market that is currently dominated by Chromebooks through this offering. Anyway, let's look forward to the official introduction in 2026, and see how the offering price will be.
