CelcomDigi is now collaborating with Boost, and offering an installment payment integration for various services and offerings – directly through the CelcomDigi app, called PayFlex. CelcomDigi says this offering is syariah-compliant. Through our observation, this service also comes with transaction charges for various amounts under the Wakalah fee.
Under this offer, users can get credit up to RM1,499, and break the installment payment into starting in 30 days up to 3, 6, 9 or 12 months.
For the Wakalah fee, users will be charged RM3 for all transactions below RM100, and RM10 for all transactions above RM100. There is also a profit charge imposed on each monthly payment. Registration can be done directly through the CelcomDigi app, and it is offered to customers aged 21-60 years.
CelcomDigi says PayFlex can be used for bill payments, prepaid top-ups, and transactions involving DuitNow QR, including at CelcomDigi stores.
