Apple Launches Limited Edition Accessories for People with Disabilities

A few weeks ago, Apple launched a special edition tote bag in collaboration with Issey Miyaki. The accessory, which is only available at a few Apple Stores, received criticism on social media but sold like hotcakes. Yesterday, Apple launched the Hikawa Phone Grip & Stand accessory designed to help people with disabilities who have difficulty holding their phones.

The Hikawa Phone Grip & Stand is also a limited edition that is only available through Apple online in the United States. The shape of the accessory is a bit strange, but through its designer Bailey Hikawa, it was created specifically for individuals who have difficulty holding their devices stably.

The purpose of this accessory is to celebrate Apple's 40th anniversary of supporting accessibility features in their products. It connects to the back of the iPhone using the MagSafe system. The Hikawa Phone Grip & Stand is sold for $69.95 (~RM 293) in Chartreuse and Crater colors.
