Apple is currently reportedly preparing and planning to replace Tim Cook as Apple's CEO, as early as next year. For now, Apple has not issued an official comment regarding this latest Financial Times report.
Tim Cook is ready to lead Apple for more than 14 years, leading Apple to become a company worth more than $4 trillion. Tim Cook is expected to remain in office when the company's financial statements are scheduled for the end of January 2026.
Several names are said to be possible to replace Tim Cook, and one of the names that is often mentioned is John Ternus, who leads hardware engineering at Apple.
This transition is also seen in line with Apple's move to enter the next phase of the company, by focusing on artificial intelligence and various other new offerings to consumers.
