If the ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card model is too “golden” for you, ASUS today also introduced another new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card, namely the ASUS ROG Matrix Platinum GeForce RTX 5090.
This graphics card comes with the “Matrix” branding which is the most powerful graphics card series in the ASUS graphics card series that has not been used for a long time. Most recently, with the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090, this graphics card is seen as the most powerful and “complete” model released by ASUS.
Starting with the graphics card design, the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090 comes with a classic black and red design, combined with a brand new “unique” design that houses four cooling fans, three on the front and one on the back.
Helping to cool the processing chip of this graphics card is a cooling block and heat pipes made of copper and heat fins made of aluminum. Using the ASUS Auto Extreme manufacturing process, this graphics card also comes with metal liquid cooling to dissipate heat from the processing chip faster, but is safe enough not to cause electric shock.
Meanwhile, this graphics card also comes with two power input options, namely PCIe 12V-2×6 for regular motherboards, and also a BTF-GC-HPWR plug if you want to use this graphics card with a motherboard that supports the BTF concept with a plug hidden on the back.
All this is also to ensure that this ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card supports a variety of configurations and cooling needs. If you want to use this card with liquid nitrogen cooling, it also comes with a Memory Defroster function that will speed up the defrosting process of the VRAM components built into this graphics card (32GB GDDR7).
This graphics card comes in a limited quantity, of only 1000 units globally with a price tag of $3999 for the global market. ASUS Malaysia confirmed that it will enter the local market this December with a price to be determined later.
