Realme today launched its latest flagship phone, the GT8 Pro, in Malaysia. This device is the first to be developed in collaboration with Ricoh for the camera system. At the same time, it also introduced the concept of a replaceable camera bump.
The Realme GT8 Pro is equipped with a 6.79-inch AMOLED 2K screen that supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is paired with a Snapdragon 8 Elite 5 chip with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. In addition, it also runs realme UI 7 based on Android 16 with several interesting AI features such as Flex Theme 2.0, Flux Desktop, AI Edit Genie, AI Now Brief and AI Mind Space.
The Realme GT8 Pro camera system comes with a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP main lens and a 200MP telephoto lens with OIS support. The camera was developed in collaboration with Ricoh, a brand known for street photography. It also supports video recording up to 8K at 30FPS. For selfies, this device is equipped with a 32MP front camera.
Realme GT8 Pro comes with a 7000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Other specifications include an in-screen fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and IP68 waterproofing.
