Coros introduces its latest smartwatch PACE 4 with a lightweight design, AMOLED display, and multi-band satellite tracking. It is designed for runners and athletes and focuses on performance, durability, and ease of use in daily activities.
PACE 4 features a 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels protected by mineral glass for increased durability.
The body is made of lightweight fiber-reinforced polymer while the silicone or nylon strap is suitable for wrists measuring 135 to 205mm with a width of 22mm.
PACE 4 comes with an ergonomic design that includes digital, back, and action buttons, and supports touch controls for maps and data during training.
It also supports Wi-Fi connectivity and integration with the COROS app while offering water resistance up to 5 ATM. The watch is also equipped with 4GB of internal storage and supports navigation features such as Checkpoint, Back-To-Start, and Deviation Alert.
PACE 4 is equipped with a microphone to record workout logs, receive voice commands and store Voice Pins. It also supports sensors such as heart rate monitor, 3D compass and Pulse Oximeter as well as body temperature monitoring with suitable accessories. The activity modes offered include outdoor running, indoor running, trail running, cycling and several other activities.
Training functions provided include Effort Pace to assess effort while running, as well as EvoLab for recovery analysis, fatigue, training load, VO2 max and race prediction.
PACE 4 also supports action camera control such as GoPro, DJI and Insta360 as well as integration with applications such as Nike Run Club, Komoot, TrainingPeaks, Strava, Relive, adidas Running, Apple Health and others.
In terms of battery, the PACE 4 can last up to 41 hours in standard GPS mode, 30 hours with always-on display, 14 hours in full GPS mode and 31 hours in UltraMax mode. Meanwhile, the full charging time takes less than two hours.
