DJI officially introduced the Osmo Action 6 in China with a compact design and weight of only 149 grams, making it easy to use in everyday life.
This new generation comes with a 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensor, 155° angle of view, f/2.0–f/4.0 aperture and an ISO range of up to 51,200 in Super Night mode. The recorded images can reach a maximum resolution of 7168 × 5376 pixels with support for digital zoom up to 2x.
In addition, this camera supports video recording up to 4K at 120fps, 2.7K at 120fps and 1080p at up to 240fps. It also offers a slow motion mode and RockSteady 3.0 and HorizonSteady stabilization, making it an ideal choice for higher quality recordings.
This camera supports JPEG/RAW image formats and MP4 (HEVC) video in addition to being equipped with 64GB of built-in storage with 50GB usable, as well as 48kHz AAC audio recording. It also supports the use of microSD cards up to 1TB for storage expansion purposes.
In terms of durability, this camera is waterproof up to 20 meters without a case and up to 60 meters with a special case. In the meantime, this camera comes with three microphones, a 1.46-inch front screen and a 2.5-inch rear screen that offers peak brightness of up to 1000 cd/㎡.
In terms of battery, this camera uses a 1950mAh Li-ion with an operating time of up to 240 minutes at room temperature in addition to supporting charging at temperatures up to 40°C. Finally, it is also equipped with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth BLE 5.1 technology for connectivity purposes.
The global launch of the Osmo Action 6 is scheduled to take place on November 18, 2025.
