We had the opportunity to see for ourselves some of the tests and studies conducted at OPPO Binhai Bay Campus, OPPO's latest headquarters and research center. With a vision to raise product quality to a higher level, OPPO has given its full commitment to each phase of product development in greater depth, from the beginning of the research process to the final product.

Apex Guard is not only responsible for protecting devices in uncertain conditions such as accidental water or accidental drops, but it also provides a smooth and easy experience beyond everyday use. For example, OPPO has developed materials such as Ultra-High-Strength Steel and aerospace-grade aluminum (AM04) that can withstand everyday use. Furthermore, OPPO introduces Armour Shield which provides a higher level of durability
Next-Level Quality Beyond Product Lifespan
New innovations such as spherical Silicon Carbon battery technology ensure high quality without worry. This technology also provides good safety while increasing the battery cell lifespan to an additional 400 cycles. Thus, this Apex Guard makes OPPO devices feel like new devices even after a long period of use.
Next-Level Quality Beyond Existing Standards
OPPO has collaborated with several renowned companies such as TUV Rheinland, TUV SUD, and SGS to raise the standards of their devices higher than competitors in the industry. OPPO devices will also undergo a more thorough manufacturing process including several rounds of quality assessment and over 180 tests from pre-R&D to the final product. Not only that, OPPO also ensures their after-sales service surpasses industry standards with quality assurance.
Next-Level Software Smoothness
Software is also included in the Apex Guard system to improve product quality. To ensure the device runs smoothly at all times, OPPO introduced the latest Luminous Rendering Engine in ColorOS 16. This technology can provide faster application launches with smoother transitions. To ensure a more consistent level of smoothness, OPPO also introduced the latest Trinity Engine so that the device will not experience lag when switching between applications. In addition, OPPO also conducted several aging tests on their devices by simulating devices that have been used for more than 48, 60 or 72 months to ensure that each device is still as smooth as when it was just unboxed.
