Our wait to return to Vice City will be delayed for another six months as Rockstar Games confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) will now be launched on November 19, 2026.
This is the second time the launch of the game that reportedly cost the most money in history has been delayed. Previously, it was delayed to May 26, 2026 compared to the original launch date of the end of 2025.
Rockstar said GTA 6 needed to be delayed in order to further improve the game, but the quality is as expected by players. With this announcement, players have been waiting more than 13 years for the sequel to GTV 5 which was launched on September 17, 2013. Throughout the development of the game, GTA 6 faced various problems such as the source code being stolen after the company was hacked.
Recently, Rockstar received criticism for allegedly firing dozens of employees who were believed to be trying to form a labor union within the company. Rockstar also said that they were fired for leaking information about the game that was being developed.
