During the early days of PCs, Creative's Sound Blaster audio cards were a must-have if you wanted to enjoy solid audio. The Sound Blaster PCI 128 was the first card to own before later moving on to the Sound Blaster Live! which offered higher quality audio. Creative's era is over but they are still around and offering a new audio accessory called the Sound Blaster Re:Imagine.
The Sound Blaster Re:Imagine is a modular audio accessory that provides audio connectivity via USB-C, optical and 3.5 audio jack. This modular accessory contains audio control knobs, treble level, bass level, changing audio inputs and a touch screen that shows audio EQ settings.
Through this hub, audio accessories can be connected to the built-in DAC. It can also be a hub for audio accessories connected via Bluetooth. The hub is also equipped with an eight-core processor, 16GB of RAM and uses the Linux operating system. The Sound Blaster Re:Imagine is compatible with PC, Windows, Linux and even consoles.
Creative is raising funds to launch the Sound Blaster Re:Imagine via Kickstarter, with it available to order for $328 (~RM 1377) each.
