U Mobile Ultra5G Coverage Expanded to Bangi, Putrajaya and PJ New Town

U Mobile recently announced that they have extended their Ultra5G coverage to three new urban corridors, consisting of Bangi, Putrajaya and PJ New Town.

This means that U Mobile customers in these cities can enjoy faster, lower latency 5G networks and leverage this network for higher quality voice and video streaming, faster software update downloads and more stable internet services even in crowded environments.

Starting with Bangi, ULTRA5G now covers Universiti Tenaga Nasional up to Bandar Baru Bangi, serving the academic community and educational institutions and is expected to come with full campus coverage starting December 2025. This includes residential, commercial and industrial areas in Bangi town.

U Mobile ULTRA5G is now also available throughout Putrajaya, covering most of the main administrative areas and zones. The new outdoor coverage area includes areas around famous landmarks such as the Seri Perdana Complex and the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC).

In addition, ULTRA5G also covers public spaces such as the Putrajaya Botanical Gardens, Putrajaya Wetland Park, Putrajaya Lake, Seri Gemilang Bridge, Seri Wawasan Bridge as well as commercial and residential areas in all areas of Putrajaya.

For the PJ New Town area, ULTRA5G coverage is present from Kampung Sungai Way to PJ New Town, covering Section 51A, Jalan 222, PJ New Town and Section 52 (around Taman Jaya LRT).

Meanwhile, U Mobile ULTRA5G coverage is also already operating in 30 buildings across Malaysia, and will increase even more throughout this year and next year as U Mobile's 5G network is further expanded.
