During this period, various improvement strategies have been implemented. vivo has also evolved from simply producing imaging devices to becoming a bearer of cultural values. In terms of mobile imaging, vivo sets a new benchmark with the launch of the X300 Pro equipped with a fourth-generation ZEISS APO telephoto lens. This high-performance lens was developed as a result of over 930 days of research and development and features VCS Bionic Spectrum technology.
This innovation directly increases the quantum spectral sensitivity of the sensor's efficiency, further enhancing imaging performance in various lighting conditions such as dim, bright and mixed with impressive color accuracy.
The close collaboration between vivo and Samsung has also resulted in a high-performance 200MP image sensor used in the mid-telephoto system of the vivo X300 Pro.
This sensor is known as Samsung HPB, and it is combined with the BlueImage algorithm and VCS technology. This combination results in a higher signal-to-noise ratio index (SN10), which provides sharper imaging performance.
This combination of advanced technologies is what makes the X300 Pro more than just a device. In fact, it functions as a high-performance imaging system designed to meet the needs of content creators, photographers and consumers who prioritize the best image quality in every shot.
Next, the vivo X300 Pro comes with a ZEISS APO Telephoto 200MP ACMEA camera system equipped with a 1G + 5P floating periscope module. This module combines one glass element and five plastic elements to produce clearer images and help reduce optical distortion more effectively.
In addition, this system is also supported by a special FCD100 fluorite-based lens with ultra-low light dispersion. This feature works to reduce inaccurate color effects at the edges of the image while improving color accuracy in every shot.
To ensure that the quality of the lens is at the best level, this system uses a special ZEISS T* coating that helps eliminate light reflections, as well as improve image clarity. In addition, it is also equipped with a new algorithm architecture designed specifically for telephoto cameras to support more efficient long-distance image processing.
The image restoration technology in the vivo X300 Pro has been enhanced through the combination of the NICE 3.0 Optical Reconstruction Engine and the MAGIC 2.0 Image Restoration Engine. This combination allows for an increase in image clarity and visual accuracy of up to 30% while also providing an overall 10% increase in recording results.
With the help of the AI Large Module, this system can adjust image enhancement according to lighting conditions to ensure that every photo looks quality. Meanwhile, the HP 8 ZEISS APO Telephoto camera in the X300 Pro also supports NICE 3.0 and MAGIC 2.0 technologies that enable up to 20x optical zoom and increase zoom recording by 20% compared to other brands.
vivo also brings new Super Telephoto Air Cutter 10–30x technology. It combines several smart techniques such as small task analysis, object recognition, distance estimation and atmosphere understanding. All of these help produce clearer zoom images.
In addition, there is also a ZEISS Mirotar-style light bokeh simulation that adds backlight effects to make them look more realistic. Updates to the extender software also make this system compatible with more models and support higher landscape resolutions. With a 300% increase in the amount of training data, the AI in this system is more accurate and intelligent in producing quality images.
In terms of video, vivo X300 Pro supports 4K Variable Dual-Video Viewing which allows users to edit 4K clips more easily and freely. It also supports 4K recording at 120FPS including LOG mode and telephoto video recording for more cinematic and free results.
Portrait mode has also been improved with 200MP Ultra Portrait which is said to be 36% better, and features more natural results. It uses a beauty balance ratio with 70% originality, and 30% color enhancement while helping to reduce blur and better maintain facial texture.
All these innovations are the result of a three-year collaboration between vivo and MediaTek through dual-chip synergy, namely the combination of BlueChip and Dimensity 9500. As a result, they successfully developed the Imagic Portrait Rendering Engine video portrait processing engine which makes vivo X300 Pro one of the best devices for video portrait production today.
OriginOS 6 Now Available for All
At the same event, vivo also introduced OriginOS 6 as a new operating system which is now available for global markets including Malaysia. Previously only available in China, users around the world can now enjoy vivo’s premium technology with a more comprehensive experience.
