This year has seen various device manufacturers racing to include large batteries with their respective smartphones. Most on the market offer batteries up to 7000mAh. For 2026, larger batteries are expected to be included.
Previously, we have heard reports about Honor with a 10,000mAh capacity phone expected to be marketed in early 2026. In addition to Honor, now there are reports that Xiaomi is also preparing for the same.
Xiaomi is said to have successfully developed a Redmi-branded device with a 9000mAh battery. Not only that, they are also in the phase of conducting laboratory tests involving batteries with a capacity of up to 10,000mAh.
Both of these batteries are expected to offer charging up to 100W. According to rumors, the first device with a 9000mAh battery by Xiaomi is said to be the Redmi Turbo 5.
