AMD seems to be introducing another model of AMD Ryzen 9000 X3D processor chip soon, with the company itself seen updating the driver software download page with the name of the AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D CPU model.
Unfortunately, the website seems to have been withdrawn by AMD, and details for this CPU are also unknown at this time. The closest comparison that can be made is through the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU which has been launched previously.
The processor chip is seen to come with eight cores and 16 threads with a base speed of 4.7GHz and a boost speed of 5.2GHz, has a built-in cache memory of 104MB with a total power consumption of 120W.
The expectation is that this processor chip may have a higher base and boost speed with more cache memory as well. But this is all just speculation for now.
It is also unknown when AMD will officially introduce this processor chip. It will likely be shown off at the CES 2026 event in Las Vegas in early January.
