Phone calls are now becoming less frequent because modern society is more comfortable sending texts. But in important situations, a phone call is the best way to contact family members or friends. At the same time, there are family members who are too lazy to pick up the phone because they are busy. For important situations, Android is now introducing a new feature called Call Reason.
With Call Reason, an “Urgent” notification with a siren icon will be displayed on the phone screen. With this notification, the recipient of the phone call will realize that this call is important and needs to be picked up immediately.
To use it, both Android phones need to use Google Dialer as the application to make phone calls. Both the caller and recipient’s phone numbers need to be entered into Contacts. The caller also needs to press the “Mark call as urgent” button when making a phone call.
With this feature, it is hoped that emergency or important calls will be picked up faster. Call Reason can be tested in beta mode by updating the application via the Play Store today.
