Elon Musk earlier this year became the first person to reach a net worth of $500 billion, and last week recorded a net worth of $600 billion. A week passed and Musk once again broke his personal record by becoming the first person to reach a net worth of more than $700 billion.
At the time of writing, his net worth is worth $749 billion. His personal wealth is higher than the combined wealth of Larry Page ($253 billion) and Larry Ellison (243 billion) in 2nd and 3rd place.
This latest increase in wealth comes after a Delaware court allowed a $56 billion bonus payment that was denied last year. The rise in Tesla stock prices and the value of SpaceX are also catalysts for his increasing personal wealth.
Musk is now on the right track to becoming the first trillionaire in history with a reward package worth hundreds of billions to be received if he manages to deliver 20 million EVs, produce 1 million Cybercab self-driving taxis for commercial purposes, produce 1 million Optimus robots also for commercial purposes and increase Tesla's profits to $400 billion from the current $17 billion.
