Google Photos Recap 2025 is now accessible to users globally. It features highlights of photos and videos throughout the year presented with attractive graphics. Compared to previous years, this version is more personal because it can be customized according to user preferences, at the same time it is easier to share.
The Recap section now provides statistics such as the number of photos, the most frequently photographed individuals and an additional selfie count. Google has also added the option to hide specific individuals or photos before regenerating a new version.
In addition, users can edit the Recap directly through the CapCut application with exclusive Google Photos templates, as well as share highlights via WhatsApp Status or other social media.
Google Recap 2025 can be accessed through the ‘Memories’ carousel throughout December and will remain in the ‘Collections’ tab. Throughout the month, users will also receive additional highlights featuring the best moments of 2025.
