The new year is usually greeted with new resolutions, new cars and sometimes new jobs to differentiate it from the previous year. For Microsoft 365 customers, starting July 2026, new subscription prices will apply if you are a business, commercial and government plan user
Almost all Microsoft 365 subscription plans for business and commercial users will be increased by up to 34%. According to Microsoft, the new prices are due to several new features such as Copilot Chat, Security Copilot, better security systems and also improvements to the software management system that will be introduced.
Copilot Chat, for example, works in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote. There is also an Agent Mode that simplifies the process of creating documents. Meanwhile, Security Copilot is built directly into Defender, Entra, Intune, and Purview to further streamline the security system.
Below is the new price list for business, commercial and government customers. This is the list for customers in the United States as we have not yet found an official new price list from Microsoft Malaysia for local customers.
