Perodua has now published a product information sheet focusing on the battery on their official website, showing what comes with their battery rental offer for their latest electric vehicle, the Perodua QV-E.
According to Perodua, users will rent the battery for 9 years or 108 months, with a payment of RM275 per month. For the first payment, users will have to pay three months of rental, which is RM825 before receiving the vehicle. This three-month payment will be deducted from the final balance later. All payments must be paid before the 5th of each month.
In the terms of the offer, Perodua also stated that if users fail to pay the rental for two consecutive months, then Perodua will turn off the vehicle start function, or battery operation on the vehicle. And the rental agreement will be cancelled if they fail to pay for three consecutive months.
Perodua also stated that they will provide a new rental contract after the 9-month agreement period is completed, which offers a higher battery capacity. However, if the battery health is above 70%, then users are allowed to use it without monthly payments until the battery health drops below 70%.
You can read the full agreement regarding this battery via the official Perodua website today.
