Sony AFEELA 1 Is the First Car to Support PlayStation Remote Play

Putting a console in a car is not a new idea, with the scene of a driver playing Gran Turismo before a duel with Dominic Toretto featured in The Fast and The Furious. But this requires the console to be installed directly in the vehicle. Sony has now confirmed that its first EV, the Sony AFEELA 1, is the first vehicle in the world to have PlayStation Remote Play support built in,

Owners of the Sony AFEELA 1, which was launched earlier this year, can stream games from their PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles at home directly to the car's infotainment system. Sony says a minimum internet connection speed of 5MB is required, with 15MB required for the best experience.

The Sony AFEELA 1 is offered in two models, the AFEELA 1 Origin priced at $89,900 (~RM 366,000) and the AFEELA 1 Signature priced at $102,900 (~RM 419,000) each. The Signature will arrive in the hands of buyers in mid-2026 while the Origin will start in 2027.
