Counterpoint Research has published a report on the top 10 phones with the highest sales in Q3 2025. The list is dominated by 5 iPhone models and 5 Samsung Galaxy models. The best-selling device is the iPhone 16, followed by the iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 16e. Although all three are last year's models, the more attractive price offers after the launch of the iPhone 17 series have boosted sales.
The next five Samsung Galaxy device models are affordable series such as the Galaxy A16 and A36. There are no models from the Galaxy S or Galaxy Z series. Although the device specifications are not the highest, it is still receiving an encouraging response from users. Apple is predicted to overtake Samsung as the largest smartphone manufacturer in 2025. This will only be known starting next month.
