WhatsApp has introduced several new features that make the app easier to use. This update not only comes with the missed call message function but also adds fun status stickers, in addition to several other features that make it easier for users to connect with contacts.
Missed call messages allow users to record audio or video if a call is missed, thus making traditional voicemails no longer relevant. In voice chats, users can now give direct reactions (Reactions in voice chats) without interrupting the conversation. Meanwhile, in video calls, the individual who is speaking will be automatically prioritized (Group call speaker spotlight) to make it easier for all participants to follow the discussion more clearly and in an organized manner.
In addition, the new media tab on the desktop version (New media tab on desktop) makes it easier for users to find documents, links and media across conversations in a more organized space, while link previews (Cleaner link previews) have been improved to be simpler and not interrupt the flow of the conversation.
Status also receives the addition of new stickers (New stickers on Status) including song lyrics, questions that can be answered by friends and interesting stickers that can be used to interact, thus making the experience of using WhatsApp more fun.
For Channels, WhatsApp introduced the question function (Questions on Channels) which allows administrators (admins) to connect with the audience more effectively and receive feedback in real time. All these improvements make the experience of using WhatsApp more user-friendly.
