AMD has launched their latest desktop-class processor chip, the AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D and it is the only offering of the company's latest desktop chip.
It comes with eight physical cores and 16 power threads and comes with a base speed of 4.7GHz that can be overclocked up to 5.6GHz. With a cache of 104MB, this makes it easier for the CPU components to access and process data faster and helps in improving the performance of graphics processing in games.
Recently, the General Manager of Ryzen and Radeon division, David McAfee has confirmed that the processor chip will go on sale in the global market starting January 29, 2026 at a price of $499. It is expected that at least the launch date for this processor chip will also be the same for the Malaysian market.
