Apple has a specific list of products that are categorized as obsolete, where after a product has been no longer marketed for more than 5 years. This makes it easier for users to identify the products they have purchased that will be supported and vice versa more easily.
Recently, Apple has updated their vintage list with several new products. This includes the last 13-inch MacBook Air powered by Intel chips – before the series switched to Apple's own M chips.
Not only that, some other products that have also been added to this list are the Apple Watch Series 5 and the iPhone 11 Pro. So, if you intend to buy these models in the near future, you may want to check first, including whether you are ready for the end of support for them.
