ASUS Zenbook DUO With Dual Screens Updated With Intel Core Ultra X9

The ASUS Zenbook DUO (2026) UX8407 was announced this morning, updating the dual-screen laptop with a new processor chip up to the Intel Core Ultra X9 announced yesterday. Like the Zenbook DUO, it still has two 14.0″ OLED 3K screens with touch support, 48–144Hz VRR refresh rates, can be used with a stylus and passes the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 standard.

This year, the space between the dual screens has been reduced by 70% to allow the two screens to be used as one giant screen more easily. Three chip options are provided, namely Intel Core Ultra X9 388H, Intel®Core™Ultra 9 386H and Intel Core Ultra 7 355H.

This is matched with up to 32GB LPDDR5x 9600 MT/s RAM, up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage and a 99Wh battery that supports 100W charging. There is a 1080p webcam with IR that supports Windows Hello. The audio system also comes with 6 Dolby Atmos speakers and the keyboard is a detachable Bluetooth type.

I/O options are 2x Thunderbolt 4 Type-C, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 1x HDMI 2.1 (FRL) and 1x 3.5mm audio jack. Even with all these components, the Zenbook DUO (2026) still weighs just 1.35 kg without the keyboard and 1.65 kg with the keyboard. The selling price has not yet been announced.
