Fender is a musical equipment brand that is familiar to music enthusiasts and players globally, specializing in offering electric guitars and other musical instruments. Through the Fender Audio sub-brand, they are also now introducing their own audio hardware.
Fender Audio has introduced several products at the CES 2026 event, and two of them will be entering the Malaysian market. They are the Fender ELIE speakers and the Fender MIX headphones.
Fender ELIE
The ELIE (Extremely Loud Infinitely Expressive) portable Bluetooth speaker series comes in two model options, namely the ELIE E6 and ELIE E12. The E6 model comes with a 60W power output while the E12 model has a more powerful 120W output power, and a larger built-in speaker.
Both speakers come with Bluetooth wireless connectivity support and XLR and 1/4-inch wired connections that can be used to not only listen to your favorite songs, but can also be connected to your musical instruments so you can play your favorite songs.
These speakers also house Fender's own Waves SoC and Digital Signal Processor to allow for higher-quality wired and wireless audio streaming.
The Fender ELIE comes with a battery that can last for 18 hours of non-stop use and can be used in a stereo configuration (two speakers at once) for left and right audio separation for very good audio output quality.
Fender MIX
Fender Audio also introduced the Fender MIX headphones at the event, and they come with a very interesting design, using two 40mm audio drivers made of graphene material.
It also comes with a USB Type-C FWD Tx transmitter that supports lossless audio transmission (LHDC-V), low latency (LC3) and Auracast, enabling high-performance wireless audio compatibility across a wide range of devices.
The main uniqueness of these Fender MIX headphones is that they come with a modular design, where all parts of these headphones can be removed, from the earcups, to the audio driver and even the headband.
Meanwhile, the USB Type-C FWD Tx transmitter part is also stored behind the earcups, and the battery part can also be opened and replaced if needed.
Other support present in these headphones includes a hybrid active noise cancellation feature, two microphones with ambient noise cancellation and wired and wireless playback options. Meanwhile, Fender Audio also says that these headphones come with a battery life of 100 hours on a single full charge.
The Fender ELIE 12 speaker will be priced at RM1,899, while the Fender MIX and Fender ELIE 6 headphones will be priced at RM1,399. All three products will be available in the Malaysian market this March.
