Google Gemini Now Offers Exam Questions for School Students

More than three decades ago, before sitting for the SPM exam, I would buy a Sasbadi exam question book and the school would provide me with copies of past exam question papers. My parents spent a lot of money to ensure I was prepared for the real exam. This is a story from the pre-internet era and now that we are living in the post-artificial intelligence (AI) era, exam question papers are also now provided by AI.

Google this morning announced that Gemini can now generate SAT exam questions in the United States through Google Classroom. Gemini will make the process of preparing for college entrance exams easier while reducing the pressure on students. Although the questions are generated by AI, they have been pre-screened by examination bodies such as The Princeton Review.

In addition to providing students with test question papers, Gemini can also help students revise in detail with work-arounds given for questions received in class. Students can also export class notes into NoteBookLM which is then processed to make them easier to understand, converted into podcasts and also into diagrams, graphs and visuals if necessary.

For teachers, Gemini can be used to create classroom teaching materials based on current documents and syllabus. All personal notebooks created in NotebookLM can be imported into Gemini to ensure the information is always accurate.
