Honor today announced that devices in Malaysia have started receiving the MagicOS 10 operating system update based on Android 16. This is the operating system used on the Honor Magic8 Pro which was launched in Malaysia last year.
However, Honor Malaysia did not share the list of devices and the date on which they will receive the MagicOS 10. In China, the first wave of devices to receive the MagicOS 10 update are the Magic V5, Magic6 Supreme Edition, Magic7 RSR | Porsche Design, Magic6 Pro, Magic7 Pro, Magic6, Magic7, 400 Pro, GT Pro, 400, Magic6 RSR | Porsche Design, and MagicPad3
The MagicOS 10 interface is inspired by the Liquid Glass concept as seen on iPhone devices. It also features cross-brand connectivity features that have been enhanced for a more comprehensive experience. Now, users can transfer photos, videos, documents, schedules, and contacts between Honor devices, iPhones, and Macs with just one touch.
Functions such as automatic verification code filling, message synchronization and connection to Apple Watch also contribute to the convenience of use. In addition, connection to the TV is also simplified with content being displayed immediately just through voice commands. The AI Call Anti-Fraud system can also identify fraud through voice including impersonation such as fake calls, making use safer.
