Honor is ready to present the premium Porsche Design Edition model of the Magic series and this continuity is continued through the Magic8 model. It can be noted that although the 'Porsche Design' logo is still maintained, Honor has replaced the hexagonal camera module with a round design. However, its shape looks more elongated than the camera bump on the regular Magic 8 model. This is also combined with a special 'Porsche Design' themed engraving as found on several previous models. Among the color options offered is gray.
According to rumors, the device is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip along with a 7200mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. Some of its specifications are also expected to be shared with the existing Magic8 Pro model.
