Also announced at CES 2026 this week is the NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 feature now available on the NVIDIA RTX50 and RTX40 series of graphics cards. With DLSS 4.5, the artificial intelligence (AI) Multi Frame Generation feature can generate up to 6x more frames per second (FPS) compared to up to 5x with DLSS 4.0. According to NVIDIA, RTX 50 series graphics card owners can now enjoy their favorite video games at a rate of over 240 FPS.
DLSS 4.5 also brings a new Dynamic Multi Frame Generation feature that only generates additional FPS when needed. This will reduce the load on the GPU. NVIDIA added that more than 400 video games and applications are now supported by DLSS 4.5.
In addition, DLSS 4.5 also brings second-generation Super Resolution support that offers better lighting, less jagged edges and sharper images. All RTX series graphics cards can access this new Super Resolution feature.
