TikTok Introduces ‘GamePlan’ for Sports Fans



Studies show that 42% of users are more likely to watch a live match after watching sports content on TikTok. TikTok is introducing GamePlan, a feature built specifically for sports teams, leagues and broadcasters to increase engagement and generate real-time business revenue.


GamePlan allows fans to follow official accounts, check schedules and standings, buy tickets, add matches to their calendars and create their own content. It also helps partners leverage TikTok’s sports community through broadcast campaigns and fan content incentives.


GamePlan also provides real-time analytics dashboards to understand fan behavior and popular conversations. In addition, a partnership with DAZN during the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup saw TikTok’s followers grow by nearly 200% and over 500,000 fans continue their experience on the DAZN platform. TikTok GamePlan is now available to users worldwide.
