Elon Musk's artificial intelligence firm, xAI, is now quoted as saying that they will continue to invest in the development of artificial intelligence models, including developing artificial intelligence that can power human-like robots. The example given is the robot developed by Tesla, namely Tesla Optimus.
For now, xAI emphasizes that they are focusing on the development of AI agents, as well as several other software. This is also in line with Elon Musk's previous partnership regarding Macrohard, which is a special division under xAI that develops software.
There are a number of parties that have made large investments in the artificial intelligence arena, including OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Meta, and several others. This does not include companies in China that are ready to lead the robotics arena and integrate artificial intelligence into robots quickly.
This partnership comes as a continuation of xAI, which has recently received an investment injection of $20 billion. Like various other artificial intelligence companies, xAI is also currently spending heavily in development, and it is not known what their plans are in generating revenue for this development.
