YouTube is now introducing updates to its content management system and video settings page in its main application. These changes focus on a simpler and more organized user experience, especially when uploading Shorts clips.
Among the improvements made is the reduction of options on the channel management screen where the ‘Manage videos’ option has been replaced with ‘Your videos’ as the main option on the channel page. This step should help users control content more efficiently while ensuring that video settings can be accessed more quickly.
In addition, the video settings page has also been updated by hiding additional settings under the ‘Show more’ menu. This change makes the screen display look cleaner, while users can still manage their video elements as usual. In other words, YouTube is testing a simpler main screen display with settings options to open if they want.
