Garmin is ready to present the Approach smartwatch series that focuses on golf. Now, they are expanding their offerings to children through the new Approach J1 model. This watch is designed specifically for young players and is also suitable for use by those who have just started playing golf since childhood.
The Garmin Approach J1 is designed specifically for wrists between 115 and 195mm. It uses an AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels matched with a durable front glass and anodized aluminum bezel. On the right side, it is equipped with two control buttons that work by simply pressing. In addition, it is offered with an elastic fabric hook strap and an additional 20mm fluoroelastomer strap is also included in the purchase box.
The Garmin Approach J1 supports various health and fitness functions through built-in sensors such as Running Features, Golfing Features, Step Counter as well as modes for outdoor activities such as running and cycling. For golf, the watch face focuses on key information to help users make decisions more easily. It also comes with over 43,000 golf courses (pre-loaded) worldwide, allowing them to record scores directly on the watch after each hole.
In addition, the Approach J1 also has water resistance with a rating of 5 ATM, supports battery life of up to 15 hours in GPS mode and supports the Garmin Golf app for score checking, personal par and game time. The official retail price of the Approach J1 is $299.99 USD (~RM 1,216) each.
