Anthropic, one of the companies focused on the development of artificial intelligence, and often positioned as a close competitor to OpenAI, has now announced that they have received a new funding injection from a number of investors, totaling $30 billion. This new funding injection also values Anthropic at $380 billion.
At the same time, Anthropic also stated that they generate $14 billion in annual revenue through subscriptions to their services, especially Claude. Claude Code itself is a leading choice in programming, and many use it in development.
The new investment is expected to be used for a number of things, including for infrastructure development for Claude's offering.
