Synonymous with electric car ownership is a subscription to a charging plan that provides discounts to EV owners. Gentari, which previously offered the Go Power Passes plan, has updated its offering for 2026 with two charging plans that are lower in price than last year.
For 2026, they are offering two charging plans that are differentiated by their subscription price and the discounts that will be received. Starting at RM 350 per year through the Go Starter plan, it provides a 15% discount with a total discount limit of RM 1,000. If the 15% discount is not enough, the second plan offered is the Go Plus plan which offers a 30% discount at a subscription price of RM 699 per year, with a total discount limit of RM 2,000.
The discount through this subscription plan can only be used at Gentari chargers, and is not included for other branded chargers including other charging roaming partners. The discounts offered for both of these plans are lower than the Go Power plan which offers a 50% discount but was terminated at the end of January 2026.
If you regularly charge your electric car at home, you may not need this plan, but this plan has the potential to provide good returns to those who do not have access to charging, such as city dwellers living in apartments or condominiums.
