Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G was launched in India with a curved display. It is also called the thinnest phone that comes with an 8,000mAh battery. The device is also an update to the Tecno Pova Curve that was announced in June last year.
Tecno Pova Curve 2 comes with a 6.79-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen and a 144Hz refresh rate. This screen also offers a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits. Its mainstay is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chip with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. In addition, it is also equipped with G1 Signal Enhancement and SE1 Wi-Fi Enhancement chips for better network connection quality.
One of the main advantages of the device is a large 8,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. The camera setup consists of a combination of 50MP (main) + 2MP (depth) on the rear while the 13MP selfie camera is placed in a small hole in the screen. The Tecno Pova Curve 2 is also equipped with an IR Blaster, Dolby Atmos mono speakers, a USB-C port, IP64 waterproofing and Bluetooth 5.4 support.
The Tecno Pova Curve 2 is offered at a starting price of INR 27,999 (~RM1,203) for the 8GB RAM model with 128GB internal storage. For the 8GB/256GB option, the price is INR 29,999 (~RM1,289). For now, there is still no official information about its offering in the Malaysian market.
