TikTok has now started informing sellers on their platform, and stated that it will introduce a new charge, namely the Platform Support Fee of RM0.50 or RM0.54 after adding SST. This charge will start to be imposed on all purchases successfully delivered on purchases through the platform effective February 15, 2026.
This charge is imposed on every item successfully delivered by the seller to the buyer, regardless of the price of the item sold. This charge is in addition to the various existing charges imposed on the platform.
TikTok also stated that items that are delivered, but cancelled or returned, are still subject to this fee charge. If a purchase is cancelled before delivery is made, the fee charge will be refunded.
Previously, Shopee also introduced a similar charge, effective July 16, 2025.
