The objection to generative AI models is that they are trained using creator data without compensation even if intellectual property has been ripped off without permission. So AI models trained using your own data are now being offered to resolve the ethical issue of data use. Adobe Firefly Custom Models was announced last year by allowing generative AI models to be trained using personal data.
Adobe Firefly Custom Models is now available through an open beta phase after only being offered by Adobe to a few customers and business partners. Adobe Firefly Custom Models can generate photos and images but uses the artwork of the intellectual property owner. The models produced can only be used by the intellectual property owner.
With Adobe Firefly Custom Models, the work produced will be consistent with the work that has been produced before. For corporate customers, there will be no issues with logos, styles and advertising campaigns that suddenly change.
