Along with the introduction of the updated MacBook Pro with a more powerful chip, Apple has also started offering the MacBook Air with the Apple M5 chip. Along with this introduction, Apple has also increased the introductory price of the MacBook Air, which is now offered starting at RM4,699, compared to last year when it was offered starting at RM4,449.
The MacBook Air comes in two screen size options, namely 13-inch and 15-inch. With the Apple M5 chip, it promises more powerful performance, and more efficient energy consumption. In addition, Apple now offers the MacBook Air with storage starting at 512GB compared to the previous 256GB, thus doubling the storage offering. At the same time, it also comes with memory starting at 16GB of RAM.
The Apple N1 chip is also included in this thin laptop, offering WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6 support. In addition, the MacBook Air M5 comes with a 12MP Center Stage camera, up to 18 hours of battery life, and Thunderbolt 4 support.
In Malaysia, the 13-inch MacBook Air M5 is offered at a starting price of RM4,699, and the 15-inch MacBook Air M5 is offered at a starting price of RM5,499.
